Spring brought with it the hope of a new birth
Rekindling the fire within me, you stoked my passions
Like descending pearls from the clouds
that release the fragrance of Mother Earth
You watered the barren patches of my life
Striking thunder and lightening in my arid heart
But then came Autumn and the magic died
You made me shed my wings
Like a crisp dried leaf, all life got sucked out
And I lay there; body without a soul
With the winter winds came the final blow
Howling along the depths of the valley
The winter chills took me in their arms
And for once I felt complete
