The Final Flight – Part 2

I was unable to fathom what I had just seen. At home, the drama unfolded again but this time I did not resist. The asshole just unzipped and began his routine: only this time he failed to assault my soul. I had become stunned. The entire scene refused to leave my mind.

The girl pinned down to the floor in front of some elders. I can see blood oozing out of her timid body like bubbles popping out of a can as a sign is being carved out with a knife on her thighs; a sight which I still can’t comprehend. The others were chanting mantras looking at the sky and and as the child’s cry grew louder, more rejoiced the parents seemed. They then smeared the blood on a paper and put the latter on fire. With the rising smoke, the jubilation of the parents knew no bounds. The entire fiasco just made me sick. I just couldn’t watch any further and so had moved away from that highly disgusting tribal ritual playing before my eyes at once.

Usually, I don’t do much at home except for reading and daydreaming about the impossible. But today I didn’t feel like doing either. I decided to visit the place post office hours. What if there in that house a horrific incident is going to happen? What if the girl just like in my tender years needs someone’s help? I can, maybe, question the neighbours or call the police. But I know when it’s your own parents, it’s difficult to prove anything wild. And neighbours?

Well, the entire area is shrouded in several mysteries as the residents live in secrecy at all times and do not communicate or socialise with anyone outside their own clan. Some say, the group is planning something sinister, something out of this world while the others call them terrorists. A bunch of creative souls feel the clan is a creative lot who channelize their creative energies amongst themselves and plan to overthrow the status quo thus comparing them to the famous Illuminatis. However, the most bizarre guess was the modern cannibal theory. I definitely wanted to get to the crux.
